There are many grades and hardness variations to solve most applications with various formulations to meet specific requirements of temperature and chemical resistance. Typical uses include:excellent heat resistance,good mechanical properties,good compression set resistance,resistance to wide range of oils and fuels,resistance to solvents; especially all aliphatic, aromatic and halogenated hydrocarbons and acids.

ED ring is one of many industrial seals, as the pipe joints, hydraulic plugs, transition joints and other pneumatic fittings for sealing, than the traditional O-ring seal better. This elastomeric seal is used as an axially static seal applied to the threaded port and the screw tip, and the cross section is almost constant at high pressure.
