High Quality Wearable U Cup Rubber Seal


The U Cup / U Ring is the most commonly used as hydraulic cylinder seals, which is a typical lip seal, whether used in the piston or the piston rod it can get a good seal.


In the low-pressure circumstances, the seal is caused only by deformation of the lip. Due to the small contact area and the relatively low friction force, as the pressure increases, the increase in the elastic deformation of the lip and stretching, compression and bending stresses, radial clamping force of the U -Ring automatically become larger, the length of the contact with the sealing surface increases until the entire axial length of the U-Ring contact with the sealing surface, thus ensuring a good seal under high pressure.
