Description of NBR

Besides NBR, materials used on the asymmetrical seals vary from Urethane, and FKM to possibly Ethylene Propylene (EPR), Fabric and Rubber, Highly Saturated Nitrile (HSN) or PTFE.

Product Description

X-Ring have a cross section looks like an “X”, and it also be circular closed, the same as an o-ring. But the X-Ring has four definitive sealing advantages over an o-ring:

1,Hidden parting lines, or flash lines.

2,The x-ring is more stable in dynamic applications.

3,The x-ring has great lubrication retention.

4,Less compression force to seal.

Application

X-ring is widely used, both for static sealing and dynamic sealing .mainly used for dynamic sealing, but its use is limited by pressure and speed. For static sealing, such as sleeves, end caps, tubes,flange, cover plate, etc. For dynamic sealing, used to seal reciprocating piston, piston rod and plunger, used to seal a swinging, rotating, or spiral motion.
